Mission

Welcome to the Intelligent Information Mining (IIM) research group.

IIM is a research group joining people, with common research interests, from Sapienza University of Rome and UnitelmaSapienza University of Rome.
Our investigations are across several areas, including: Machine Learning and Data Mining, E-Learning and Educational Data Mining, Knowledge Based Systems, E-Health and Network medicine, Social Media Analysis and Recommender Systems, and Human-Computer Interaction and Web Engineering. We always welcome new challenges and national/international collaborations.

The call for applications to the 40th cycle of the National PhD in Artificial Intelligence (Phd-AI.it) has been announced.
Application deadline: July 10, 2024.
The IIM research group proposes two research topics within the call:
  • Research Topic 1: Advanced AI Techniques for Anomaly Detection and Churn Prediction through Time Series Analysis and Customer/Product Clustering
    Financing body: University of Rome UnitelmaSapienza
    Co-financing company: ELIF S.R.L.
    Main location for research activities: University of Rome UnitelmaSapienza
    Advisor: Prof. Damiano Distante
  • Research Topic 2: AI-based solutions for product classification, customer profiling, time-series analysis and data driven marketing strategies in the retail sector
